Textile Fragments

Five interesting fragments of vintage handwoven strip cloth from West Africa:

• Ewe Kente from Ghana or Togo
• Ashanti Kente from Ghana
• Indigo dyed fugu from Ghana
• Indigo dyed check strip from Mali

Condition: As these pieces are up to 25 years old, they show some wear, distress, fading, occasional holes or stains and sometimes minor repairs. See image.

Combined length of fragments: 2.90 metres, approximately
