Vintage & Collectable African Textiles

Traditionally worn as a wrapper by people of the Anlo or Koulango tribe. Cotton yarn dyed in indigo, handwoven into narrow strips, then stitched together into a whole cloth. 100% cotton.

From Côte d’Ivoire.

• Great for a blanket or throw.
• A distinctive, decorative wallhanging.

Though this cloth could be up to 25 years old, it is in excellent condtion. The indigo colour has aged gracefully and the cloth has a lovely, soft feel.
